Petrelli. Peter Petrelli. Anyone can be a hero, maybe, but some people choose not to be. Some people choose to be the opposite even when they've got the power to actually be a hero.

I don't think I could. Do nothing, I mean. But I never had much of a choice, and even when I did, I still went along with it because it was what was right. I realise that doesn't make me sound like I'm proud of the decision, but I am. I had to do it.

I don't think that people who are proud of the decision to become some kind of hero ever actually sound proud about it. Maybe because being a hero isn't always all that grand when you get down to it.

It isn't that grand. And sometimes people don't realise they're heroes. I've always had people reminding me, even if it's frustrating.
