It's been a while since I updated here-since I arrived, actually-but I thought it might be about time to do that. The City looks like it's messing with filters, but I suppose that doesn't matter because there isn't a whole lot I could say in private. But I should give an update anyway. I'm going to do it as a list, because that seems a little more ( Read more... )

I never thought I'd see any good in a curse, but I expect you're on to something there. And really, that's all we can say with the filters being what they are.

But it figures you'd talk about Quidditch with your Dad. Which match did you decide on as your best, then?

My first, actually. He decided that if you can't make a good show in your first match, you don't have much to compare to it. And I had some good matches since then, but I did start off on the right foot.

Shame I wasn't there to see it, though Merlin knows I bombarded Ron for the details through owl post. To think you made it on the team as a firstie-that must have impressed him.

It look him until his third year to finally make it out of reserve, but he said that was because the Captain didn't like his behaviour.

And you might want to be careful about what you don't want making onto this network, Ginny.

My dad and Sirius used to cause a bit of trouble, but I think he tried flying out in the middle of a match once. He said it was worth it to throw the quaffle at the Slytherin seeker's head. Er-I don't think that was Regulus, though. Not yet.

I admit, I've wanted to toss a quaffle at a few Slytherins myself. Sometimes not even the ones in the air.

And it's completely up to you on sharing stories about your Dad, of course, but you know that even if he did cause trouble, none of that's a word against him. He was a student, same as the rest of us. If I remember correctly, you cause a fair bit of trouble yourself, Harry.

I would have gone for a bludger, personally, but he wouldn't have done much good without a bat.

I meant what you might not want shared. I don't mind telling stories about my dad-or the trouble I've been in, either. It's always been for a good reason, hasn't it? I am his son, after all, and Sirius was proud of me for a reason.

Speaking of Quidditch, I've been trying to get my hands on a set of game balls for months. Can you believe nothing's turned up here? It's bloody frustrating.
