Unbelievable
Wow, so I had an incredible night last night. It was the third annual presidential ball at Lafayette College. So, basically me and my buddies all got dressed up and went to this ball to hear an AMAZING Jazz orchestra... George Gee's band...and dance to some music that you can actually dance to. So, A. I got to dress up, which I will secretly admit, I thoroughly enjoy doing, and B. I just let loose and danced and sang all night long. I had three girls try to dance with me in just the first song. :-) hehe
Then, I came back to my room to find that my roommate was having a personal conversation with his sig. other, so I took a hike and went to Wawa, which is conveniently open 24/7 and subsequently I was up until almost 4 in the morning.
So now, it's about 2. I just woke up a little over 2 hours ago, got some lunch, and then I'm off to the gym in a few to play some basketball, which I'm terrible at, but I should try to get good at...since I will be playing the part of one of Troy Bolton's best friends in High School musical. mmm... I really don't know what I'm getting myself into, but the way I see it, we're doing this show for charity. So, even if I'm humiliating myself by participating in this show, it's totally worth it.
My mind just went blank for a second. I'm totally uninspired at the moment. I have yet to read the Word of God today, which I should be ashamed of. I feel like, when I don't read the Word, it's like God is trying to talk to me, but I'm just covering my ears and forcibly blocking out what it is he has to say to me, which I have found does not work out always. I do love the Lord, I'm just selfish really, and often take my time for me. See? "my" time. yeah right. So, I guess now I'm going to go and shoot some hoops, and come back to rest and see what it is I'm missing today.
