Hey peops, Im in brazil, and I finally have some time to use the internet. We~´re at some wierd internet cafe/ game house. But it was really cheap, so we´re taking advantage of it. It is absolutely beautiful here. Yesterday we went on a boat tour that was supposed to cost 20 reals, but for 25 reals he made it a private tour. Thats like 10 bucks!! the tour was great. we were on the boat for like 7 hours, and we saw whales, sea trutles, and clear clear water. Also, we got to go sand boarding...just like snowboarding, but on sand... sooo cool. and we ate dinner out on a restaurant that was out in the middle of the ocean. Way worth what we paid. today, we might go either dirtbiking or horse riding through the sand dunes. so anyway, this has been probably the most exciting part of the trip so far. but a lot of other cool stuff has been going on. a lot of good shopping, good waves, good sun, and great food and coffee. so, im having such a wonderful time, but i really miss everyone. theres some people i havnt seen since school got out, and thats just not healthy. oh yeah.. i forgot to tell you how ive had atleast three, semi-good looking brazilian women ask me for my number, and when we were checking out christ the redeemer, the giant statue of jesus in Rio, i got attacked by a mob or brazilian women, and a couple guys,( about 5 in all) and they were like flipping out over the fact that i was american. they were like asking to have pictures taken with me and stuff. it was wild. but i was scared, cause they like surrounded me completely, and they were treating me like i was famous, and i just wanted to run and hide. ahhhh... so i have a week left, and i plan on enjoying it as much as possible. tomorrow were going to a big family bbq which should be great, since i like food so much. and monday through thursday ill probably just spend trying to bake myself in the sun. this has been a fabulous vacation i must admit. oh, and i wrote out some postcards, but i havnt had a chance to send them yet. sorry if you dont get one...but its only cause i dont know your address. and you probably wont get them until after i get back. sorry. you know i love you all
