Ummm... I forgot to mention that I am GRADUATING soon and I need to have a white tea-length or longer dress to wear. Unfortunately, so do all 53 of my female classmates, and it seems like there are only 5 white tea-length dresses in all of Denver.
I really, really wish we graduated in caps and gowns. But the girls have to wear virginal dresses and the boys have to wear ties and blazers. It's so very prep school.
I have looked in every store, on every website, in every catalog I can think of and have found nothing under $120. I really, really don't want to spend that much on a dress I'm only wearing once. Really--I'd rather spend more money on a sexy dress for prom I might wear once or twice a year. I've found knee-length dresses everywhere I look, but I don't want to get booted out of my own graduation for wearing improper attire.
My mom has asked every heterosexual woman and every gay man (oh, she and her stereotypes) she knows and we've all come up with nohing. I've looked at every department store in the mall, Kohls, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Old Navy, Target, Sears, and every shop in Parker. I've seen some pretty sweet shower curtains, though: I should totally show up wearing that or
something like this.
I know I don't really have a flist of fashionistas, but any help anyone could offer would be wonderful. :-)
