Yeah, so..I officially quit DJing today. Fuck that god damn place. It started getting to me a couple weeks back, the way everyone in that god damned place were drama whores. So, apparantly Jordan has been telling the staff there that I wasn't planning on working anymore and was just using me to work when he couldn't.
I think that's a halftruth.
I'm pretty sure the club has been fucking around too. Debbie had told me a couple times "why are you here, just to hang out? I thought Brian was working tonight." And I've seen this with 4 other DJs that came through there. No one ever really gets "fired" unless they really fuck up. In fact, it is decided weeks before you are "ousted" that you will be ousted. I knew it was going to happen to me sooner or later, but not this soon.
So instead of putting up with the bullshit, I just asked if they wanted me to work at all, when they said no, I hung up. So, yeah, I'm never going back there again, and Jordan and I are done, too.
Oh well, this actually works out better. Despite not having cash money on me, I'll at least be able sleep better and not have to worry about who is working and when. I'm doing the easter bunny job now, that will last til Easter...hopefully that can keep me afloat for a while.
