Tyler and I came up with the minimal requirements for adulthood. (I type this as I wait for a massive file to open in photoshop at work.
1. Not living in your parents house, or a house they own, or a pool house they own, or in a tent in their backyard.
2. Financial independence from guardians. The only reason you take money from them is because you want to, not because you have to.
3. Working for said financial independence and not just getting it because some rich person kicked the bucket. I think this was a different thing, but i can't remember what it was.
According to this, I'm an adult, and I'm sick of it.
Things in my life are extremely routine and busy right now. I'm working full time at Grand Image, doing the Info Management thing and being a general pain in the ass, I've starting seeing a personal trainer twice a week, and there's that whole boyfriend social life thing. After I'm the rest of the way moved in I think I'll have more time on the weekend.
Thus far the apartment is great. I found out that the sound of the freeway drowns out my alarm clock. I really love it, and I've got an awesome roomie who I never see. I think Elliott and I are on completely different schedules. I do see him when i wake up at 3am and have to pee, but i'm not much for chatting then. Elliott, if you read this, i'm sorry i make a lot of noise at 7 in the morning, and I'm sure we'll interact at some point. ♥
I'm entering an art show!
Bye.
PS - I'm using facebook at lot. Add me!
