Real Update. I hope.

School: I'm taking 8 credits over the summer to finish my degree. That's right folks, 8 credits, 5 weeks, and a lot of stress later, and I'll be done with Evergreen FOREVER! Class one is self portrait drawing, which is kind of a lame premiss, but the teacher is amazing. She's been working in the arts since she graduated from Evergreen in 89 and shows pretty consistently. We also get studio space, so i can keep up with this whole oil painting thing. I'm really hoping to get a lot out of this class. Class two is a comic book class. I like the teacher, but a lot of it is review since i took it a couple quarters ago. It's ok though, because besides the lectures, all the activities are different.

Work: I still work in the parking office. We're way over staffed, but under staffed at the same time because of scheduling stuff. There's all sorts of furniture drama going on right now. I work mornings twice a week, and it sucks, but i need the money.

School + Work = stress: So have school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and i work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This means I'm on campus four days a week, but on all four of these days i'm on campus for 12 plus hours. It's horrible, i have such a hard time getting stuff done, i feel dirty, and all the dining services are closed for summer so i have to spend what little free time i do have looking for food. Lets just say i'm very unhappy about having so little free time during the week. I'm not going to miss this bullshit at all.

Apartment: It's super messy. The people that own the building might sell it out from under me too.

Friends: I'm living the hermit life. When i do get out, most people are busy, or in another state, or just plain MIA. Toby is the only one I see these days, and that's infrequent. I really am trying to get out and be social though. Now that i'm 21 i'm trying to exercise my right to karaoke at the gay bar, but it's the night before i work at 745. If it wasn't for my co workers i wouldn't be seeing anyone.

Tyler: I see him on weekends. We're super busy and barely talk on the phone anymore. If i wasn't so exhausted with everything else this would probably bother me.

My current mental/emotional state: A little agitated, but over all very happy. I'm doing lots of art stuff which keeps me feeling accomplished. I stopped going to counseling this week, but i don't think i ever told anyone i was in counseling in the first place. I'm really excited to move back to seattle, to find a job, to get an apartment with a sweet room mate (you know who you are!) and all that.

Other: I joined this site called Humble Voice, it seems to be a cross between myspace and deviantart. I'm still figuring it out, but i like the layout options. You should join, my user name is "aimee", lets be friends.
