New Friends?

Today started out really bad. Well not actually bad, but just not that good because I was tired as hell. I went job hunting with B.B. Hood. We only had 1 promising job, but that's ok. At this point i'll take whatever. I felt dirty today. While job hunting, B.B. Hood and I ended up at some ice cream/cyber cafe type place. We went in like normal asking for applications and looking for work. Some lady behind the counter came out and was like what do you guys do? Our response was "anything". Now when you hear that you would think "anything" as in cooking, cleaning, serving, and whatnot. This lady looked at me when I said that like I meant "anything" as in...well, "ANYTHING" if you know what I mean. Needless to say I didnt want to work there...EVER. Then we got bombarded by some boxing coach which isn't too bad seeing that I box and all, but this guy would not shut up. I mean damn there's a limit to how much I can bear to hear over and over and over again. It seemed like we were there for 45 min talking to this guy. If I wasn't so polite I would have told him to shut the hell up and walked off. B.B. Hood tried another place and got an application from there, but after all the pervious events I was done for the day. I really hot asian girl was there and she seemed pretty nice as she spoke to us when we were leaving. (If only I had the nerve to walk up and talk to girls). Oh well, another oportunity wasted.

Later on in the day we decided to go out with some of B.B. Hood's friends. It was pretty cool. I played magic which I hadn't done in over a year, and played Halo which is pretty much the only game I'll let myself play on X-box....other than Shenmue. Of course when you have 5 guys in a house we're going to get hungry. So we decided that since we were in Yorktown we would go to McDonald's and Try to portray me as some semi-famous rapper while we ordered. So we stormed into the McDonald's with them in front of me as my bodyguards (as if I would really need them to guard me) and proceeded to order 20 double cheeseburgers. Needless to say the workers there weren't too happy about that. It seemed like they were winding down for the night and didn't really enjoy having to make these extra burgers, but it's their job so they have to do it. Pretty much that was the highlight of my time spent with them. They were cool people, but I think there was just a little to much input on me being the "black guy" and not just Trey. Guess that's what I have to live with when I'm in VA.

Before I started to write this I talked to Chibi for a good while. I was pleasently suprised that we were able to hold a conversaion for that long. It turns out that we actually have a lot in common. I wonder what that says about me since I'm 20 and she's like...15. It was still pretty cool though. I might end up hanging out at putt putt tomorrow. I doubt if I'll play any games, but I need to get out of the house.

As for the state of my life right now I'd say it was looking up, but it's easy to look up when you're as far down as you can go.
