Hey! blast from the past!
wow.. raised from the ether... in the flesh!
Well.. more or less... it's funny.. I came back to LJ to look over my writings breifly.. to see if I'm ready to share it with a listener from my past who wants to get into the therapeutic process of writing, and, well, thank you for the birthday wishes! And it's great to see you on here!

As for this listener.. she's the one who called in to a radio station I worked at, late one night around 2001, as a young teenager at the end of her rope, or so she thought. And she was brave enough to let me call the Youth Help Phone and gently, over the course of the evening, lead, and finally leave her to talk with a counsellor who had the knowledge and the authority to put her in touch with the professionals who eventually got her out of a very dark situation and into a new home.

While her life is far from easy to this day, and while she still faces ongoing challenges in her life, her heart is good. And perusing thru the writings of my own..my decision on what to share is still being made, if only for the separation that needs to be maintained between my on-air an off air life.

Hope all is well.
I've become a bit more private.. I still write, just not out loud these days :P

Things are generally pretty good.

So check this out... there's this writing contest... and I thought you just might be interested :P It's too late to enter it this season, but for next season...

I convinced joeymichaels to play... thought it'd be great to get a few more friends playing :P

I've got such a talented friends list!

oh wow, lol, well thanks! Tho I may have to go spectator on this one, but I appreciate me the heads-up. Haven't written much over the past year so I know there's some rust in the writing joints for one thing, and I'm also in the gruelling process of Music Director training and up to my nose in BDS Charts and Neilsen soundscan data... the J-O-B has taken a deeper turn for the all consuming, and sweet blessed free time has become hard to come by.

Keep me in the loop. I'll try and swing around here a little more often :)
