canoeing

went to wekiwa springs with my mom again.
not wekiva, there is no V in wekiva. everyones wrong dammit.

anyways, my mom really loves canoeing,
and i enjoy it but
i am not so good at it...
she can really row.

i was a horrible look outer,
and it happened so fast---
we hit a fucking tree.
i saw a spider web and screamed 'mommmm'
and then we were in the water laughing.
it's not easy getting back in the canoe,
as it's engulfed with water and
then i screamed because i could feel the mushy gross bottom.

the bottom of the earth
murky awfulness.
but after the people in other canoes helped us
and after they laughed with us and some fell in the water too,
i realized how much fun it was to go overboard.
we laughed and laughed and we'll always laugh about today.
the day i ran us into a tree.

the best day ever, canoeing with my mommy.
