little spasms of interest today:
On the morning radio show, Bax & O'Brien (based out of Springfield) on 102.1 FM, they had this woman who created "Mama Gina's School of Womanly Arts." She, of course, is a Mount Holyoke alum. She mentioned this right away, and the reation of the DJs: "ohhhhh of COURSE!" Then she went on about how at MHC they teach you how to study and job search, but not about pleasuring one's self. Then one of the DJ's made the crack, "At Mount Holyoke, they dont have a drinking problem, they have a LIQUOR problem." and Mama Gina was like "ohhhhh i like youuu" Oh man. Didn't know we had such a reputation.
While I walked to my car today, I crossed the path of a flock of turkeys run/walking across the parking lot. They all looked juvenile, three or so looked adult. I felt like I was back millions of years ago, watching dinosaurs walk through the modern day.
On the ride back home, there was a fellow scientist with his hand out the window, smoking a cigarette, only with a latex glove on. Takes me back to orgo I lab days, in which I wore my fantastic purple gloves out of lab gleefully.
