안녕하세요! こんばんは! Hola! Hello! Ya'at'eeh!
I've been learning how to read hangul as part of my quest. I've decided to focus on that instead of Mandarin for now. (Mandarin is hella hard!) Atleast I can compare korean to the japanese language. I've got most of the consonants and vowels already committed to memory, but there are a few that have managed to elude me. I think I might start posting notes to LJ comparing the two to español so I don't lose what I already know. Yay, three keyboards!
On the plus side, this means I may be able to watch the raws of dramas next year.
Recently, I've been crocheting different projects and I've been slacking off. Currently I have some glittens, beanies, and arm warmers in the works. Preparation for winter has started early this year, even though it's still in the hundreds. I wish I knew the password for my swapbot account, but I can't seem to access it. :( I also have postcards to send out for postcrossing but I need to get some international stamps from the post office.
While I'm on the subject of crafting, I've been asked to handle the bouquet for yet another quinceñera. It's my brother-in-law's wife's little sister's - I'd just say my sister-in-law's little sister, I guess? The color is red, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do for it yet. (It seems like we get asked to be padrinos a lot.) I want to do a fresh flower arrangement, but that means I have to wait until the last minute to do the flowers. So far, everyone wants my silk flower arrangements.
Um.... yeah....
Bye!
