Update..be it a small one
I'm back! I hope everyone had nice holiday. Mine was nice. I worked Christmas Eve..which sucked because it was really busy all day and I didn't get to go to church..but that happens from time to time. I had off on Christmas as the store was closed. My dad had to work from 8-4 so we waited for him to come home before we opened presents. I got a ring, mp3/voice recorder, digital picture viewer keychain, and a plug and play video game from my mom. cash and a Tom Tom ONE 130S GPS system from my grandma. A Gucci purse from my dad, diamond studs and a robe from my grandparents and a gift card to AMC from my aunt. The day after I went to Wal-mart to take back a sweater and shapewear that didn't fit, then I got a new iPod. I ended up getting an 8GB iPod Touch. I wanted to get a bigger one but I didn't have enough cash to get it :(.
New Year's was uneventful. I worked New Years Eve from 10-2 then I went home we had supper and decided to try..try being the operative word..to make appetizers for the ball drop..well..needless to say..we got everything prepared..went to put it in the oven..and the oven doesn't work..so we ended up throwing out about $20 worth of food because it'd all thawed out in the time we tried to fix the oven...that sucked. I had to work New Years Day from 9-1. So I got into bed around 11..but I managed to stay awake until after midnght..just barely...got up went to work..the usual..
This week my manager asked me to work 4 days from 7:30-12:30..unfortunately..my dad had problems with his car so we're down to one for now..so I couldn't do it..but I'm still working tomorrow..even though that's my normal day off..why I'm working tomorrow and not Wednesday I don't know..she wanted me to work 4 days and yet I end up with three..I only agreed to four so I could get a little extra cash.
I want to join a gym because I have to lose a considerable amount of weight before I can even consider applying for my dream job..thankfully that won't be happening for at least 7 years. I just can't find a gym that's reasonably priced near my house...it's frustrating.
