Delays...
This posting is for anyone who is still reading this journal and the fanfics here. I always intend to finish every story I've ever begun to post. At the present, if I count all the stories I've posted on various archives or my own fanfic site, it means I have some 36 stories which I have posted since 2007. Of those, at present only 3 are unfinished, those being:
Losing Harry
Autonomy
Four Letter Word
Sadly, I am afraid that Four Letter Word will become the first story which I do not finish posting, mainly because it began as an experiment and I never got past chapter 2. I don't think it's a great loss, and not many people have read it, or even know about it. I suppose there really is a first time for everything.
Autonomy will be finished one day, I am confident of that. I began writing it in August 2008. I have lots of notes and partial chapters written, and I do plan to complete it when I am able.
Losing Harry will also be finished, and it is my priority right now. I began writing it in September 2008.
Before these stories, I was always able to finish writing, editing, and posting stories usually within 9 months, sometimes perhaps even stretching to a year. I'm at a point in my life where writing can not be a priority. It's something I love to do, but don't always have time to do so. To complicate matters, I have had computer crashes, shoddy internet, moves across the world, language studies, job changes, and a myriad of other things that can decrease one's motivation, availability of time or resources to write and post.
I know the waiting is unpleasant for readers, but for anyone still out there, I will be updating Losing Harry very soon, and am now getting back in the spirit of writing and editing, and I have a the Completion of the story in sight, as my goal.
After that, I will focus on Autonomy.
