fixed.
on wednesday afternoon i was sitting on my bed and reading a book when i felt something hard in my mouth. i spit it into my hand and after observing it for a few minutes i realized it was a tiny fragment of my tooth. i ran to the bathroom but couldn't find what tooth it came from. fast forward to yesterday morning. i wake up to another hard object in my mouth. i spit it out and it's a larger piece of tooth. i freak (i'm obsessive when it comes to teeth and oral hygiene) and i still can't recognize what tooth it was from. by late friday afternoon, i was in incredible pain. i couldn't open my mouth let alone eat anything.
i call my dentist's office.. dr. oven is booked solid. however and thank God, dr. padula is in the office for a few hours on saturday's for emergency appointments. i qualified as an emergency. turns out, i had a HOLE in my back left molar. not a cavity, a freakin' hole! he said it's something that he definitely doesn't see every day and how it happened is a mystery. after a little bit of drilling to make it even, he filled it in with something. all i know is that i now have a whole tooth again and it's wonderful. he was also nice enough to move my cleaning from september to this coming tuesday. luckily for me i was in the office when the lady called to cancel her appointment.
it was the first time i ever went to dr. padula. he's incredibly nice. i didn't think i could like a doctor as much as dr. oven but i think he has some competition now!
my computer is really pissing me off. it takes websites at least ten minutes to load and that's if they load at all. i cleaned out the cookies and temp files, went through and deleted unused programs, ran anti-virus and an anti-spyware. nothing seems to help. i'm tempted to throw the stupid thing out the window.
some random person called my cell phone four times today without leaving a message. i know the calls are from a cell phone because it has the same first three digits as mine but, well, i haven't given my number out to anyone recently. weird.
okay, i have to go get ready. it's almost beer time!
