the new washing machine was delivered this afternoon -- it's amazing. i'm probably one of only a handful of people on this planet who gets excited over new home appliances but we all have our quirks, right? it has a "dry clean only" setting which blows my mind. i decided to give it a try and nothing fell apart / came out looking like baby clothes. word. the boys who installed it were oh-so-adorable. i lounged around in my basement the entire time, haha.
i actually managed to bring the suitcase down from the attic. step one in one of many. i have piles of clothes all over my room sorted by what's clean, what might be clean, what definitely needs to be washed. packing for vegas isn't an easy task. it'll be 100 degrees outside but the air conditioning in the casinos is blasting dropping the inside temp into the 60 - 70 degree range, maybe even cooler. it's all about layering.
i want to go out tonight. it's the last night i can really go out for a week and a half. tomorrow is out of the question since i have to be up at 3am on wednesday in order to get ready, finish packing the small things and get to the airport on time. so, in conclusion, if anything is going on, drop me a message.
i discovered the art of purchasing albums off of itunes the other day. it's wonderful. i lost my bon jovi "crush" album a million years ago and didn't feel like paying $17.99 to re-purchase it. i snagged it off of itunes for $6.99 earlier today. itunes makes me happy. =)
i talked to megs earlier. she's on vacation in orlando and currently in the midst of a tornado watch. not like the weather here is much better, though. it's june and 50 degrees outside. if i didn't know better i'd swear it was the end of october.
alright -- i gotta hop through a shower and paint my nails. do laundry and start packing. clean the room up a little bit and fill sebastian's tank with more water. and eat dinner.
