tomorrow is my last day until the end of august. it makes me sad. =(
i had a family life test last friday. i went out on thursday night and proceeded to drink my face off, didn't get to bed until 3am and could barely see straight when i woke up. we only had a half day so i skipped out after taking the test instead of waiting around for the results. on monday i found out that the class average was a 78%. i freaked because i thought the test was rather simple. we got them back today.. i got a 96% on it. the highest grade below mine was an 88%, ha.
i have my final in that class tomorrow. i was studying until i figured out that the lowest grade i can get and still pass the class is a -37. awesome. i'm going out tonight; feel free to join!!!
took my brother to dr. lilik this afternoon. after sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half (i'm glad i called ahead and was told they were running ahead of schedule), we got back into a room and my parents joined us shortly thereafter.
according to lilik, the electrical impulses in brian's brain are firing way too rapidly. he's on depakote for the next two years and nine months (hello, random!). i believe we're going to get a second opinion, though. lilik medicates clients too quickly and it's very unusual to be medicated after only taking one seizure. when i was sixteen-months-old and took two of them, he had me (literally) addicted to phenobarbitol to the point that i couldn't even speak. if it wasn't for the neurologist we went to see at geisinger, i would more than likely have had permanent brain damage because of it.
on the way home i was sitting at the light by the soup kitchen, minding my own business. a man who was VERY apparently wigging out on drugs was twirling around on the sidewalk and then decided to start twirling around in the middle of the street. it was one of those "what the fuck is going on?" moments. he fell a few times. it wasn't until he was on the opposite street corner that i noticed not only was he missing his right foot but that the stub was fashionably wrapped in a blue tarp.
moral of the story: don't do drugs, damnit!
