i am officially 50% done with nursing school. i took my last final this morning, medsurg.. i spent seventeen hours --straight-- studying for that puppy. i can happily announce my final grades were a 98, 94, 94, and 90. =)
i'm so tired that i'm not tired, if that makes any sense. i tried to take a nap but i'm bouncing off the walls instead. go figure. my stomach hurts but i attribute that to the omlette, hash browns, and toast i devoured at denny's this morning with the girls. go fatty go.
mrs. earley and i sat in her office talking for about an hour today. she is seriously like a second mother to me. i don't know what i'm going to do without her once i graduate. although she's always told me "once you graduate, come work tele with me! i think you love the heart just as much as i do." and it's true, i adore cardiovascular.
the boy cut a chunk of his thumb off at work on monday so i've had the privilege of changing his bandage every night since then. haha, lucky me. his blood doesn't coagulate right so whenever the bandage comes off it bleeds for like twenty minutes. it's fun. and he's always staring at me so the other night i was like "what?!?" i didn't expect to hear "nothing. well, actually.. i look at you and can't help thinking about how beautiful you are and how you are so out of my league it isn't even funny." aww, cute.
alright, i'm off to find something to do. i have nothing to study for so i'm out of my element right now.
