See, I like it better this way.
Sometimes I miss being 'in charge', although I guess I never really was in the first place. I like not having all that responsibility, though; I can just dedicate myself to training harder, and not have to bark out orders at the idiots running around the ship.
Now we're going to start fighting people again, the exact reason I signed up for this little pleasure cruise in the first place. It'll be even better not being a quartermaster, since I'll be one of the people on the front lines, right where I belong, getting torn to pieces and doing the same to everybody around me.
...although...I guess if they ever asked me to take the job back...I might...
