(no subject)
Hi! I joined this community because Dr. Who + knitting seems like a good idea and purpleprimate is awesome. I haven't seen Dr. Who in years but my dad used to watch it obsessively when I was younger. I have absolutely no idea how to knit. I once tried to learn how to crochet but it didn't go so well even though my mom is a master crocheter (hopefully that's a word). I deviated a bit on the colors for the scarf, replacing the brown and tan with silver and orange. Not quite sure why but it seemed like a good idea and hopefully will continue to be. A friend of mine is going to give me some basics on knitting (and some practice yarn) before July 1st so hopefully I'll be ready to begin and not horribly mess up the scarf.
