Hello world!
Hi everyone! I've been meaning to knit the Fourth Doctor's scarf for a while now, but finding this knitalong was what finally prompted me to get some yarn and cast on.
I'm knitting the season 16 version because I want my ridiculously long scarf to be really ridiculously long. I decided to use Elsebeth Lavold's Silky Wool (on US 4 needles) because my LYS had it on sale last Friday, and they had 6 out of 7 colors in stock. I don't have the ball bands with me right now, but if anyone wants to know the color numbers I can dig them out later.
I had to order the yellow online, so I was stuck at 58 rows until it arrived earlier today. But now I'm on row 80-something - the number keeps changing because I'm knitting as I compose this post. :)
I'm getting a digital camera in a few days, so hopefully my next update will have photos.
