Dalek Toilet Roll Cover - Supersize Me!
I crocheted a Dalek for my sister for xmas a couple of years ago using the pattern I found here (translated to UK/Australian terms of course!). I'd now like to make another for my brother but I want to make it as a toilet-roll holder in the style of the old doll ones everyone's grandmother made for them 40-odd years ago!
The standard pattern for the crochet Dalek makes it about 20cm tall but I want to upsize it to tall enough to hold 2 rolls of TP under the 'skirt' with the dome bit on top so somewhere about 45cm, I guess. Haas anyone ever made one that big - or can give me hints on upsizing. Or a knit pattern if you have one of those even. Thanks in advance.
