Small cooks curry

I made my first attempt at curry today. Basic recipe. I am not mental.

An onion cut into stripes glazed on oiled pan, and I added loads of red curry paste, which started to smell Really Interesting after 2 minutes of slow fire. Which got me THINKING ABOUT SEX and consequently, I chucked in a whole pint can of coconut milk, instead of mere fourth of ( Read more... )

LOLZ @ you. I have done this exact thing with food before. I call it the "shaved haircut while trying to even things out" method.

What to do with fish sauce? Any thai recipe! A simple pad thai would be ideal. Here's a find recipe: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/22/dining/21minirex.html

ALSO curry soup freezes rather well if you can't eat it all now.

OMFG yes. 1/4 cup of fish sauce is just what the sad eye of badly painted Anchovy wants. Not to mention that I´ll get to call it "nam pla" :))

Hahaha, I angrily made something tonight, in fact! A vegetarian lentil sloppy joe. It didn't turn out perfectly, but FUCK IT. I should probably start posting food related things again. They make me happy. And ANGRY.
