Kyle hated going to the classes he shared with the Slytherins. This was mainly due to the fact his ex-girlfriend was always there. He much preferred the classes with the Gryffindors.

Walking into the last R/S class of the day, he saw her, and avoided eye contact, sitting down quietly before class started.

It was hard enough being her new clumsy self, but worried about being that way in front of Kyle? Well, that was a totally new playing field. Especially if she wanted to win him back.

When he passed her, Mori decided she wasn't in quite the right seat. She stood up and sat at the table next to his with another house mate.

Did she just move closer? Kyle held still, so as not to glance over to check. Hopefully things would still be smooth... Relax, he told himself, busying himself with his notes.

She could feel him getting more nervous. Mori took her quill and 'accidentally' dropped it, right across the way at Kyle's feet.

Gentleman qualities. He could curse them right now. Kyle picked up the quill, and handed it back over, not even making eye-contact. When he did look over at her, he guiltily looked down again. Talk about awkward...

When he handed back her quill, Mori made sure that their hands touched. His fingers felt as wonderful as they always had.

"Thanks, Kyle," she said softly.

Oh... woah. He did feel something when she touched him. Ignoring it as best he could, he nodded, turning lightly red and returning to his papers.

"Are those all notes for todays class?" she asked, peeking over with a smirk on her face.

She's still talking to me...

"Yeah, NEWT year," he nodded, figuring she'd figure out he was intense about it. They had dated during OWLs.
