Kyle found Mori during lunch, and sat beside her to eat.

He couldn't wait for lunch to be over.

She turned slowly towards him, a grin forming on her face. Even though they'd been together for a good amount of time, every time she saw him Mori felt that special knot in her stomach tighten just for him.

Kyle felt a sudden nervousness, and immediately tried to shake it off.

"Hey yourself," he hugged her, knowing that he couldn't kiss her in front of everyone, due to the Headmistress' rules.

Mori hated the new rules of the school. They were too strict for her taste.

But, being the rebel that she was, she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. After checking to make sure the coast was clear though, after all.

Kyle grinned, turning a little pink. It was good she was willing to rebel.

"You rebel, you," he spoke under his breath.

"Pinky promise," he nodded, giving her his pinky rather than his hand.

This made Mori laugh. He was so cute and could make her simply with such simple gestures.

"Pink promise," she repeated, hooking her pinky with his.

Shaking the intwined pinkies, he gave her one of his simple smiles as he released.

"So what've you been up to?"

"Homework and prefect duty," she answered with a sigh.

"I can't wait to take a break from it for Christmas."

Kyle was scared out of his mind for Christmas.

"You'll still be coming with me, for part the time, right?" he asked, trying to not sound too anxious.
