"I'm pleading cause this kills and I'm still bleeding..."

Wow, where do I even start?!?! I haven't written in here since June and now it's the end of August. Insane. I knew I wasn't going to write much over summer, but I promised myself I'd start up again when school started, so here I am.

Let's see, what did I do this summer? I worked a ton at Walgreens and I also nannyed for a three kids down the street from me. It was fun and I made a good amount of money, but at the same time I kinda wanted to sit and do nothing a lot of the time. I did get to buy a car at the end of the summer though, YAY! (2002 Ford Focus, silver) I love my car and I was so thankful to have the money to afford it, it is ALL mine. I also went to Sonshine with Allison and my sisters. That was way fun, three days full of amazing Christian music. I was really hot though so we were sitting in the shade trying not to die of heat exhaustion most of the time, lol. I also went to Warped Tour with Kristin and Jim. We had tons of fun riding the light rail there and back and also just watching all the bands. I don't know if I'd go back though... There are too many people, it's on blacktop and the bands only play for like 30 minutes a piece. I prefer the more intimate smaller shows. But it was still fun. I also hung out with my high school friends, although it wasn't as much as I would've liked... It was hard with all of our conflicting work schedules. My family and I also got to go to Niagra Falls (Canadian Side) with my mom's parents and sister's family. We had lots of fun and made it the whole time without killing eachother. We actually got along pretty well and that is a miracle. That's pretty much my summer in a nutshell... Nothing to special, but I had fun.

I just finished my first week of school (although it wasn't truly a week, it was only four days. I am currently taking Spanish 321 (Advanced, AHHH!!!), Statistics, Cultural Antropology and Sociology of Religion. So far it seems like my classes are going to be ok, they aren't too hard and I haven't gotten obscene amounts of homework, so so far so good. My roomate on the other hand is in Poetry, Poetry Writing, British Lit, Intro to Journalism and Meaning of life. She constantly says she is going to kill herself because of them. They are pretty boring and she has at least twice as much homework as me. Hopefully it will lighten up later though... I can only hope for her sake. What else... Kristin got thrown in the nasty, skanky pond today after dinner by our friends Brent and Colby. It was really sad and also really funny. Thankfully I was spared this time, but who knows, tomorrow could be my day. I'm having a blast with Kristin as my roomate, we have fun together. And we've been able to get our homework done and sleep too, YAY!

I don't really have much else to write about right now, but I'll try to update more often. I'm gonna go watch some VMAs and wait for a much overdue phone call, if it doesn't come tonight I'm gonna be PISSED! Much love!
