Salvete omnes! Any classicists out there? This is my second time around. I've spent two years getting an MA and now I'm back applying to PhD programs.

Yes, Classicist here. Rumors are some initial invites have been sent out from some top programs.

According to gradcafe, Berkeley acceptances went out this week last year. Has anyone heard back yet?

I applied to AHMA, know people who got rejected and waitlisted. Don't know anyone who got in but I can't imagine they wouldn't have notified acceptees if they're notifying rejectees and waitlistees (EEEEEEEEEEEEEES). Yet I have heard nothing. ????

I belief Classics decisions are separate from AHMA. Don't know what's up with them.

Another season has passed for me and again I have been rejected everywhere. I was a real moron for applying again. I might as well have set fire to all the money I wasted. And all the time!
