I've come realize, when people decided to split my name in half in order to form a nickname, they really chose the wrong half. I never liked being called houds but out of love for my friends I never said anything... afterall, it seems only my really good friends ever call me that anyway... still, these days I find myself nearly cringing everytime I get called that. (Dini on the other hand, I really don't mind one bit...)
Seeing as how I can't figure out how to tell my friends this in a nice way, i figured I'll post it on livejournal, hope one of them sees it and passes the word along.... or at the very least, posting it here will make me feel a little better till I can figure out the nice way to say "please stop calling me that... I don't really like it".... hmm, think i found it.
