Most intriguing.

I suspect this may relate to the story that I refrained from posting about here last week because nobody online who might be in the know seemed to believe it was true. Yes, I am torn because my personal feeling is that I would totally buy audio-visual reconstructions from the BBC, but I know that this way will appeal to far more people - and Power is such a great serial that that is exciting.

I know what you mean about the audios, because I'm exactly the same - voices, visuals - I just get that inescapable feeling of wrongness that comes from somewhere deep-seated and not rational enough to be overcome. I cannot buy any BF where any character is not voiced by the original (well, unless it's another regeneration of a Time Lord, of course). It seems so incomprehensible that other people don't mind it and don't find it weird! But clearly not & I suppose they should have stuff to enjoy.

(And to be fair to BBC Worldwide, this project must have taken a heck of a lot of work and money to pull off, so we can't blame them for making a fuss about its release - even if we feel this kind of thing should be limited to lost eps found and new Doctors and what have you! Poor Beeb.)

But, yep, where's Sod's Law when you need it - we want Power back! :-D
