Seems Like Yesterday...
As this is a comm created specifically in order to celebrate Who's history and longevity, it seems appropriate to acknowledge that twenty years ago today, viewers of CITV-TV based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, were the first in the world to see:
Two days before it was aired on Fox in the States - fifteen days before I got to see it on BBC One on a Bank Holiday Monday. I remember it well. IIRC, I watched The Lavender Hill Mob on Channel 4 just before it (I was going through my Alec Guinness phase) and reruns of Billy Connolly's World Tour of Scotland on BBC Two afterwards. Somebody may now go and look up the listings for that day and prove my memory wrong.
