Pretty good episode, I thought. I liked all the references to past Doctors: the jelly babies, 11's sonic, 1's tie, "Are you my mummy?" from 9's story (I think? mind like a sieve), and I could swear he was doing a Tom Baker voice impersonation at one point. But it's kind of time for him to be developing his own "thing", you know? I love Capaldi and he's doing well, but really about all I know about this Doctor is he tends to be pretty acerbic. The ending was nice though, where he showed he does have some feelings. Letting Clara sleep was a nice little touch to show he cares.

So much for the "no flirting" rule. Twelve and Clara felt like a long time couple in this one, and flirting was definitely going on. I can see them having a strong relationship since she's been a part of much of his timeline, but this definitely had a romantic feel. When she was on the phone with Danny and said, "I love you", she was looking at the Doctor so...was she referring to him? I think so.

Don't know why, I keep thinking I'd like to see him with a companion like Leela. Someone that was more of a contrast to him.
