As far as I'm concerned, the guy's making all the right noises. Not specifically the "no flirting" thing that has been the headline in all of the stories about it I've seen so far (including the linked one), but the idea that he has a very, very clear idea of the kind of Doctor he wants to be, informed by his lifelong Who fandom, and the self-confidence to stick to his guns.
