The usually gentle man had turned on her, snarling and fierce and it had taken Anya snapping back at him to stop him truly hurting Liz's feelings, the Brig, for his part, seemed almost amused.
Anya had allowed Liz her choice, as much as she wanted to say 'Don't leave me' she had never been able to let herself be seen as needy. Liz had accepted the flight and Anya had watched her go, turning her back on the TARDIS to return to work, unaware of the fact the TARDIS had never moved until familiarly gentle arms wrapped around her waist, a small sob breaking her concentration.
Anya had turned, taken in Liz's face and smiled softly, sadly.
"I thought you wanted to fly?"
"Not without you."
Anya smiles, relieved.
"Then set your mind to it Liz, go back in there and make him see you need me with you."
