Loved every word. This by far and away my favorite what if au.
Question. In the original I thought Shepherd was lost for days not months, but in this one, I think, refers to months lost with the puddle jumper.Not that it matters but what was the time frame?
Any way really like McKay not getting how above and beyond he was to get the info and loved his rebellion at geek boot camp. Hope to see what happens in Area 51

Hm, I'd started up with a day by day breakdown of what Rodney was doing while John was stuck. In the end I think it worked out so that John had been stuck a little over a week before Rodney was even able to talk to him, then then perhaps twice that long before he was rescued. The months Davis was referring to in Mountainside covered the time John was "recruiting" Rodney.
