wallet gone missing!
last night decided to print off dissertation to avoid having to do this morning, so came down to uni at bout 2 in the morning to go to 24 hour cluster. have to use a uni campus card to get into the building, fine. go to computer and put my stuff down beside it. i have one of those USB memory deys and the computer i was at didn't have any spare USB ports so moved computer. this must be when i left my wallet behind. printed my work etc, then went to leave. nearly forgot memory key in back of computer, and as i put it in my pocket discovered no wallet. so i search round where i had been working, then the computer where i had started. nothing. shit.
so am now in the lovely position of having lost my cash (thankfully not much), card, driving licence, campus card (£20 to get a new one a whole 6 weeks before i finish yay!) three cheques (total value £60) and the general hassle.
and before anyone asked the first thing i did when i got home was cancel the card. however since it was nicked in a computer room still plenty of time to do some online shopping, particlarly since i was there for about anhour before i noticed it was missing.
as i said earlier shit!
