falling in love...with fall
lazy, lazy day. but good. had some great opportunities to just hang out with some friends i haven't seen much of this week.....and went to the actual movie theater (instead of the student life bldg) for the first time since i got here in august. impressive, i know- but hey, who has time for the movies when there's so much else to do? saw elizabethtown (not exactly my first choice, considering i haven't seen a new movie in forever....but one can't be too picky when one isn't driving), not bad, not bad. decided that i should try to get out to the movies more often, since i keep running into people i know (even though that happens just about everywhere i go, haha).
for some reason, the tundra conditions in our room are no longer (now that its like the tundra outside)- in fact, the ac just doesn't work at all, our entire side of the hall is experiencing the same....and since neither kathy nor i like hot humid rooms, our windows have been propped open all day (i finally found a good use for my geography book), thus putting me in a very "wintry" mood and compelling me to play some celtic tunes (from a christmas cd wouldn't ya know?).....very appropriate.
