Since I now I have a handful of new friends I thought it would be a good idea to have a 'About Me' post (inspired by banana7pancakes  very own post). So here we go!

The super basics
Name: Whitney
Age: 24
Also: I have a dog, Penelope aka Pennie who is a Border Collie mix, and two cats, Charlie a grey and white male and Georgia a little calico female.

More about me under the cut... )

You really should! I would love to read it! :)
Finchel isn't really my favourite but I do have a soft spot for them when the other ships are also involved. Lol, for some reason the crazy Rachel/Finn/Quinn/Puck love square does it for me. It's the perfect amound of fluff and angst. :)

But I do really love Finchel when they are being goofy and friendly. Omg, Duets was AMAZING for Finchel goodness! They should always scheme togehter.

Oh, I am SO with you on gummy candies; Labyrinth, Clue, and About a Boy; and TEA! Good stuff.

Living in Michigan my whole life, I've developed some sort of Canadian radar! I once shocked a co-worker by asking if he was Canadian, when he'd been living in the states for 16 years! (It was the way he said PRO-cess rather than PRAW-cess, as we Michiganders say it. And yes, I know we have a fairly annoying accent!)

But: I don’t think it matters so much what you believe in… but that you believe in something.

I have to disagree with this! I know it's only what you believe, and this is your journal, but: it IS possible to live a very full, meaningful, and satisfying life without believing in ANYTHING! I've done it for 15 years. :)

*grins* more things we have in common!

Lol, that's so funny. I've done that to people before. My dad's side are all Newfies and so is my husbands family so I'm used to picking up on Newfie speak and accents. This one time when I was working in retail I surprised a customer by asking if they were from Newfoundland. They were but they had moved away when they were only 5 years old! But one thing I've noticed... if you are surrounded my Newfies long enough, you adopt a newfie accent. It's strange!

Oh, oops, I don't think I made myself clear. I didn't mean it doesn't matter what 'religion' you believe in as long as you believe in one. I meant it doesn't matter what you believe in as long as you find something to believe, ANYTHING. Perhaps you don't believe in anything spiritual but I'm sure you believe in science and evolution or perhaps you haven't given much thought to either and instead believe in simply living your life to the fullest. Everyone should believe in 'something'. :)

Lol, incase you are wondering why my userpic looks so sad... it's because I chose the wrong one. This one is what I was going for. :)

I'm sure it's just a difference in semantics: someone who's spent most of their life holding spiritual beliefs, vs. someone who hasn't. To me, to "believe" in something requires "faith": sure, I believe in science, but only because it's been demonstrated as the most plausible explanation for me. When science changes, so will I: it's all about what can be "proven", insomuch as anything can be proven ( ... )

YAY! :)
Oh, Corner Gas was the best! We have all of them on DVD and watch the from time to time. Oscar makes me cry laughing. I miss it.

I haven't seen any of his new shows... but we don't have cable so we watch most of our shows on dvd or on the computer. Do you recommend it?

It really was! I loved Hank and Wanda. They were my favourites!!

I don't! My dad watched them and said they weren't that great.
