So I've been weighing some things in my mind lately and here's what's up...
I never thought I'd contemplate what it would be like living with my dad.
The benefits:
+Spiritual encouragement.
+SMOKE FREE
+Clean place to have friends over.
+Empty house almost all the time.
+A bigger room and closet.
+About 10 minutes from Delta as opposed to 30.
+Two bathrooms.
Downfalls:
-I'd have to listen to their stupid disagreements.
-I'd be more obligated to go to the "Morgan family functions". No thanks.
-Maxey (My stepmom) can be a huge nag.
I haven't even brought this idea up to my dad or anyone else. I was just really irritated when I got up this morning and had to share the bathroom with Joe and when I let him be in there for awhile the it reaked like smoke horribly. I DESPISE it sooo much and they don't care. I bet the only thing that would make them stop would be if someone was diagnosed with cancer. No joke. And it's embarassing when I have friends over and there are piles and piles of crap (not actual feces, but papers, old mail, randomness) everywhere! My mom doesn't work! There's no excuse why there should be random crap all over my house. GOSH! I'm just getting tired of laziness and cigarette smoke. I'm ready to be on my own but then I have that one problem-I can't afford it.
Man, that felt good. Keep that situation in your prayers if you would please. I really don't want to cause any bitterness or hurt feelings with my parents because I love them dearly, there's just things that I can't fathom living with for much longer; we are quite opposite.
Moving on..
-I began my spring class (Spanish 1) and it's awesome. I love it. If you know spanish, lets talk spanish. I want to keep my skills sharp.
-Lots of whatnot going on with the church. I won't go there though..
--And After the Fire's last show is Saturday, so please, go and support the guys who have invested a ton in the so called "scene" around here. They've always been willing to help out other bands if they could and it would be nice for people (friends, other bands, etc) to show their appreciation for their music and talent!
-I'm changing my major to Sociology and focusing on Social Services. There are absolutely no jobs in the field of psychology right now. I plan on applying to U of M in November and I don't have a back up plan yet if I don't get accepted. So we'll see. I am also going to study Judaic Culture and Theology at some point. We'll see. I'm super excited though, I really like college.
-Friends are sweet as always. I do miss the people I don't see often. And sometimes I think that the friends I do see a few times a week could be a lot closer then we say we are. They are definitely a blessing though. And I know we're a lot closer then the average group of friends, if that makes sense? And I'm thankful for my new friends as well. I'm trying really hard to delegate my love in my relationships fairly.
