So we're giving it another go-round. It took a little talking, but Ali is alright with it. The word alright might be somewhat of a stretch, but she says that she's not hurt and she isn't complaining, so long as she knows who's where and what's going on.
I'm more relaxed than anything else. Happy too. I would've been happier if we had won last night, but a point's a point. And Erik got an assist, which was great.
I'm gonna go watch a movie with him and Ali and the kids. This is a good feeling. I went from being basically by myself to walking into a family, and I love it. I'm just glad Ali didn't walk out on anything. I thought she might've for a second there, the look on her face said she wanted to... but she's a bigger person than I gave her credit for. Erik found a good one. But then again... I did too.
