Everyone's Your Friend in New York City... Everything Looks Beautiful When You're Young and Pretty.

Lots of emotional turmoil lately. Tried changing my hair. Have gone through so much fair kettle corn that it makes me sick. Have been alternately absorbed and disinterested in my work. When none of that works, I photopost. Lots and lots of photoposts. So with no further ado...

In October, Lauren and I were slated to head up north for CMJ-- The College Music Journal Festival-- and we decided to get the most out of it by heading up early.

Yay!

Aww, Lauren was real sad about... something...

The Orlando Airport is almost like a theme park. It even has rides.

Florida in October. Lauren on the monorail.

I'm up in the clouds.

I love plane rides.

Lauren talking to Meg after we'd landed :)

I was super excited to need a sweater and scarf.

Leigh picked us up and after delicious Chili's, we went to her house. This isn't my picture, but it's necessary for the narrative because her house is just so precious.

The next day, Meg, Lauren and I walked through Newark and Meg's campus at Rutgers before heading into the city.

Newark.

A subway fight. It was scary.

Empire.

The Library.

Rockefeller always looks like it's spelled incorrectly to me.

Lauren's first time there :)

Fall flowers.

I swear... there's ALWAYS a parade on Fifth Ave.

Dragons and Hippogriffs at FAO

It was like... Harry Potter world.

Yay FAO

For Sue.

Gemma's little sister.

This is an intense lego set.

Okay, well maybe not as intense as the build your own boyfriend set.

I got what I came for.

Lauren and Meg :D

Big Meg Little Meg.

At the Met's new Greek and Roman section. I was amazed by the color on this.

Hot junkness.

I studied this in Art History!

Me and Jacob. He's saying, "I'm so hot." I'm saying, "Whatevs. Look at my pink dress."

Colossal Augustus.

Now THIS is an earring collection.

Lauren was in heaven.

The closest thing to fall leaves I've seen in... my life...

Mmmm. Yum pizza.

The square where we sat to eat our pizza in Soho.

Only at a bar in New York. It's like North/South fusion.
