hey. hey? hey! Drop that Sammich!
well heres my update. Been doin art stuffs and hangin out with Jacki mostly. She seems to have some uncanny luck at the game of UNO that is beyond explanation. She had 20 cards in her hand at one point while I had 6, that win was in the bag then she unleashes a torrent of draw 2s, wild draw fours, and various cards that alowed her to take turn after turn while skipping me. I was dumbfounded at this display of "Travis can't win UNO." Of course I have my own luck at certain games, however it is not consistent, specifically I have an uncanny ability to role 6's for most super-senses powers in hero clix. Well this post seems to be developing rather nicely, anyway most of my relatives have been blundered by the hurricane, some of them are living with my parents at the moment. Hopefully the government and people will get New Orleans back on track in the future and remake it better, faster, stronger. I suppose alot of people can take this as a new beginning for themselves and the city. Also I think it's great how people continue to strive against nature eventhough nature will continue to pummel us. Now heres a little dialogue to illustrate the point.
"Jim Meets Nature"
Humans: "Hey Bob wouldn't it be keen to build us a city by this huge body of water? It sure would Jim."
Nature: "Hey you might not want to build those cities anywhere near the ocean cause I'm gonna send storms every year."
Humans: "We can handle anything cause we're A #1 dukes of New York!"
Nature: "Well okay but don't say I didn't warn you, I mean theres gonna be catastrophic damage at least once a decade."
Humans: "We'll just build it back then"
Nature: "That seems kinda redundant and inefficient"
Humans: "eh?"
Nature: "You know what go ahead"
Humans: "Somebody say something? Hey Bob looks like a storms a comin tell the boys to break out the raincoats."
Yeah I suppose we are kinda like the Norse Gods in a sense because we know terrible destruction will meet us eventually but we keep on truckin anyway.
