I leave in two days. Went to see The Overwhelming at the National last night. It's a new play written about Rwanda a few months before the genocide began. It was good. I kind of feel like the playwright read Philip Gourevitch's book and then wrote a play without reading anything else though. It was like...insert random important fact the average audience won't understand then never mention it again....But I enjoyed it. I just think most people won't get the allusions cause he never explained anything, but yay for someone writing about it!
there's been a ton of Darfur coverage here. I wonder if it'll be like that in the States.
So. Today I take a bag to Bedford and hopefully they'll keep it till I come back. Gonna go to Tescos one last time to get some snacks for the journey. I will really miss the White Grape Blackberry water from there. ohhhhhhhhhh it's so good it rivals my affection for sweet tea.
So. I fly into Philly on Friday around 7 their time midnight my time. Then I get some Wendy's...!!!!!!!!!!!!!...so excited about Wendys. Then some of my mommy's spaghetti then sleep then wake up and drive the 8 hours home. The drive from Philly isn't so bad. I've done it a gajillion times with Sam so it'll be fun to do with Mom for a change. and my mom's bringing my phone! yay for having everyone's number again. I can't wait to see my lil bitty kitty cats!
Ok, I'm off to finish packing.
