Sorry, I was amused by this... Having no other information, no, I don't think it's a coincidence. Perhaps because of his (I'm assuming the name Bram is masculine) shared birthday, he decided on researching Vlad and became fascinated with him. It's someone to idolize in some way, and in this case, perhaps tribute? Just a idea. Either way, I love random, so that's pretty cool!
