Enter EMILY TULETT, alone.
EMILY TULETT Hark! I return!
And all who thought me dead shall be in scorn,
for here I stand, my head wreathed with garlands,
my brows annointed and my eyes alight!
Enter FLATMATE NO. 1.
FLATMATE NO. 1 Emily, can you stop talking to your mirror
and clean the toilet?
[Cue Reality]
So yes, I'm not dead. I am alive and semi well and obviously bored enough to reactivate my LJ after something like 8 months of abandonment. Woohoo for being a total slacker! What am I doing? I'm glad you asked.
UPDATE!:
- I am still in University, still studying English lit and hopefully not failing.
- I currently work for a downtown bar/nightclub as a waitress and it is by far the most tiring but cool job ever. Long hours (sometimes 10-12 hour shifts) = bad, free drinks and hot co-workers = good.
- I am starting to get a handle on my finances and at the same time I'm starting to buy some really nice stuff. Woot for money! I bought myself a $258 corset the other day. See it here.
- In uber exciting news, one of my best friends in the world, and my best female friend, Krista, is coming over from Indiana to see myself and Ash. Yay! 12 days!
- I am currently single but semi-involved if that makes any sense.
- I am starting to do web design again... and get paid for it. Bonanza.
- I live with my best friend Joe and our friend Nick and have been doing so for nearly 7 months or so, in lower Kelburn. It's awesome and I have a cat named Juliette who is one eyed and pure white and is the cutest narliest thing you have ever seen, period.
- STILL obsessed with Harry Potter, think Snape could be evil and could be good, and won't say either way, didn't cry at the end of Half-Blood but it takes a lot to make me cry over a book. Thought Goblet was the best HP film ever because it didn't look like a Harry Potter film. Awesome.
- STILL a huge slash fan.
- STILL obsessed with World of Warcraft
- STILL thinking about changing my name. Well, I'm pretty decided, just waiting till I have a long enough gap in travelling to get a new passport.
