semester update
so, the good things about this semester:
--i like all my classes, much more than last term
--i'm getting tons of great reading done
--there aren't any really obnoxious people in my seminars
--i got to experience tons of snow
the bad things about this semester:
--i tore my hamstring muscle!!!!! ouch! nothing that requires surgery, which is nice, but it's going to take a few weeks to heal, which means . . .
--no working out for at least a month, and
--living at the GC and having to walk forever to campus is a friggin pain
on a random note, i really like the BBC's "day in pictures" as well as cute swiss figure skaters. i dislike reading about 15th century portuguese and african maritime navigation and eating at procter hall. but i'm still trying to decide what i think of ann douglas's "the feminization of american culture."
