Bulletproof KinksA bulletproof kink is a story element a fanfiction reader likes or is turned on by regardless of poor writing quality, implausibility, or unsavory plot elements. Perhaps surprisingly, given the sexual origin of the word kink, many bulletproof kinks are story tropes unrelated to (or incidental to) sex; for instance, particular character types, emotional dynamics, or settings may be bulletproof kinks.

• Protectiveness, Possessiveness - I love when one character acts all defense about another, such as shielding their body, confronting another character, or giving someone else a dirty look who appreciates them. It's funny, because I'm so independent in real life, I'd probably just laugh if someone was protective of me (though I would appreciate it deep down).
• Aliens Made Them Do It, Sex Pollen, Fuck or Die - Big turn on for me. There's not just enough of these out there. I think I like these, because they'd be the only "way" I'd have sex in real life without being married.
• Big, Tough Guy and Little Girl - Yum. Fits in with the protectiveness above.
• Naïveté - I haven't decided if this is an exclusively Castiel thing, but innocence really turns me on in the best way.
• Denseness (to so extent) - Sometimes too far is way too far, but I do love the frustration of the other character and the eventual realization.

Squicks
You can assume that everything that I did not include on the list below is a squick in some measure for me.

• Established Relationships (not exclusive) - If they're already established in canon, then it's fine with me. However, I'd much rather read about first times with any non-canon couples.
• Detailed Sexual Descriptions - I don't like these, especially when they're too realistic. I don't want to give any examples, but I just don't want to know about some things.
• Orbs, Globes - For eyes and buttocks. Not much turns me off a story quicker. I don't like those o and b sounds, I suppose.
• Girly Men - I don't care if you've been horrifically abused, grow a pair, dude. I find angsty, hurt/comfort male-focused fics to be incredibly bland.
• Brothers or Sisters Incest - I am 100% convinced that people who write brother/brother or sister/sister or any variety of such incest fic do not have a sibling near their age or are completely screwed up. Seriously, brothers and sisters are an obnoxious pain even at their best.
• You Were Only Using Me, But I Love You Now - It's such a cliché nowadays, you think people would realize that it's all going to turn out all right in the end. If it happened to me, I would feel weird, but they love me now, so it's all good.
• Dub-Con or Non-Con - The phrases themselves. Rape is rape, people. I see zero point in trying to "hide" what it is by giving it another name.

I used Anna S.'s List to create my own favorites. They're in alphabetical order, not order of preference, but I like at least part of these. Most are less-sexual, but just things I like in a story.
