Meme: Fragments 5: TV
Well, I have been very busy with NaNoWriMo (up to 23,000 words so far) and I haven't got the time for writing much here, I'm afraid. However, I've found some fun things to prompt myself with, when I do get back to business.
Random Pairing Generators!!!
One - Buffy, Angel, Firefly, HP, & others

I really like these, especially the first one, but I would love to be able to create my own. However, I'm almost completely "coding" and "HTMLs" and "CSSes" and what have you illiterate, so that's right out.
I would love to find one that lets you input your own list of characters, then have them randomize them for you, but I simply could find no such thing.
However, with a little bit of trial and error, I managed to create a basic one with Microsoft Excel. BASIC. I just made a list, had it (somehow!) put random numbers by each name, then arranged it by number or alphabetical. Not exactly what I had in mind, but I think it might be useful in a pinch!
So here's what I did. I listed all the characters from the shows that I currently like in two rows, male & female. Then I alphabetized the whole list, mixing up the fandoms. Whoever was next to each other, I thought I would see if they would work out at all (ignoring age differences, locations, & time periods). Here's the more interesting results!
Annie (Community) & Artie (Glee) - That would be the most adorable pairing ever!
Brennan & Booth (Bones) - Clearly, they're meant to be!
Brittany (Glee) & Disher (Monk) - I'm sorry, but they would have the dumbest babies ever!
Emma (Glee) & Eliot (Leverage) - It wouldn't work, but it would be so cute if it did! He'd be all taking care of her and she's just be so adorable!
Erin (The Office) & Finn (Glee) - They're both kind of dorky, good guys, I think it could work!
Kelly (The Office) & Jeff (Community) - Wow... they're kind of scarily alike - self-centered, talkative, cool, maybe not that much, but still.
Santana (Glee) & Ryan (The Office) - Again, I see a lot of similarities here. Can be nasty, competitive, manipulative.
Van Pelt (The Mentalist) & Toby (The Office) - I think this could work as long as they were encouraging to each other!

Booth: “This guy had a rap sheet.”
Disher: “He’s a real hardened criminal!”
Bones: “I don’t understand.”

Bloody and bruised, Eliot stumbled into the room. Emma grabbed her wipes and knelt by his side. After slipping on latex gloves, she began carefully cleaning his face, crying softly.
Erin & Finn
“Teach me something,” begged Erin.
“No way - your spazzy disco is perfect!” laughed Finn.
Erin giggled as he showed off his own spectacularly awful Saturday Night Fever moves. “Dork!”
Kelly & Jeff
“What’s this?” asked Jeff pointing at the newspaper.
Kelly smirked, “My new Greendale Gossip Column.”
“Am I in it?”
“Duh! You’re headlines, baby!”
“Not as much as you!”
“Duh!!”
Santana & Ryan
“What are we going to do tonight, Santana?”
“Look sexy while taking over the club?”
Ryan smirked. “Same thing we do every night.”
Van Pelt & Toby
Grace noticed the way that Toby watched when she entered the room, especially when Jane gave her that pointed look, but she kept her own feelings on the inside.
