Summer was to die for.
It started with NHS, something that I'll have to live up to this year. I guess no skipping band for me...*stiffled laugh* No, it was quite an honor. I remember, I wore my SHARKS shirt and some bowling shoes, and we went to Applebees and Stephanie and I got the same thing, and she couldn't eat it all. And we saw Star Wars!
After that came
Appalacia Service Project. Wow, what an expierence. I wonder how Kenny is doing...he was so funny. "Big as a beer can!" I feel bad for him...poor Randy and Lisa. It felt good to help them out.
That was a humbling expeirence.
Than was Europe. That tought me to be open minded, and to be more observational. That was so awesome...from the really wierd situations on the TGV to looking for red awnings, because there wasnet any color. I loved that trip...getting to see some other part of the world. It feels good to watch the Travel Channel and have visited the places they're talking about.
That was a good expierence. That was living.
Than there were those picnics,
(8/11/05,7/28/05)
And that night swimming, with the big frog on my house.
And don't forget the hours of running for soccer.
I had an awesome summer, and I know I'm changed from it. The feelings from ASP are still here, and the sense of...adventure, from Europe,is with me. This year will be a good year. I'm going to encourage everyone, in everything, and I'm going to use this year as a mission field.
