Quick and Dirty

Okay, long story short. Ugh.
Since Panama, I have taken a class in Hawaiian Ethnobotany, got accepted to go to the University of Kent at Canterbury, left Hawaii with the intention of spending a week at my parents' place while waiting for my visa, got stuck here and just celebrated Christmas.
My last year, in a can.
Oh, and a note on Panama? I got a police escort to the airport on my way home because my Spanish sucked that badly. Yup. That's me. Ask for more details.
What brought me back to write on here was a dream I had a long time back, when I was living in Hawaii.
I dreamt of the baobab tree. It was 500 feet tall and I climbed all the way to the top with the techniques I learned in Panama. At some point in Hawaii, I also learned of a place, called a 'lost garden of Eden' in Africa and was instantly interested. So I was thinking of that today.
Thinking, thinking... and then I started comparing maps. This garden of Eden is in Mozambique, on Mount Mabu. Comparing that with the distribution maps for African baobabs, it's entirely possible that I might find a 500' tall baobab in Mozambique to climb.
So on my list of places to go is Mozambique for the new variety of botanicals, Cameroon for the Congo rainforest and more preferable social stability, Brazil for a friend there and the Amazon rainforest, as well as Peru, Bolivia, etc; Panama, because I miss it so much, Costa Rica, to return there as well, Indonesia for a friend and the Jamu, the traditional medicine system there, Dequin in China to study Himalayan medicine for a year and a quick tour of Egypt for the diabetes treating herb and the history. It's ambitious, I'll admit. Think I can do it?
